New Fastpass system

I have not been to the parks since they updated the fast pass system. I just have a few questions.

1. Is it all electronic passes now or are there still booths?
2. For the electronic ones is it done in advance or day of?

Also I have castmember passes from my time as a cast member, never used my passes before, is there a way to convert them before we head to the parks and link them to my phone or no?

The paper FP are still available, but it is electronic in the sense that the FP is linked to your ticket now, so you scan your ticket to enter the FP queue (I believe the actual paper FP is just a reminder now).

The fully electronic system (booking FP via the app instead of going to the kiosks) costs extra and it's still day of. There are a few advantages such as a shorter waiting period between FP, but it's mostly about convenience.

Yes. Every day for every person you want to use Maxpass for.

Yes. You could purchase for only some of your group, but there isn't much point since you would then need to walk to the kiosks anyway. It would only really make sense if either some members of your group don't ride many FP rides, or if you're purchasing it only for the photo benefits and don't intend to use it for FP.
