a being the lower (larger) tent: Big Top Souvenirs featuring The Flying Piggolinis (Merch)
b being the upper (smaller) tent: Pete's Silly SideShow (M&G)

Maybe it's just from looking at it overhead, but I was just struck by looking at that picture what a shame it is that SWSA is turning into a M&G. I think SWSA is a pretty poor dark ride, but they have the ride platform all ready to go, and they could refurb it into another great ride. Instead we get a M&G. Such a waste of space IMO.

Snow White is not being closed to make space for a meet and greet. It is being closed in favor of the new Mine coaster. The space where the mine coaster is going was initially supposed to have enhanced meet & greets for Cindy and Sleeping Beauty. When they scrapped that for the mine coaster, the took away the enhanced portion of the meet & greets and opted to move their traditional meet and greet into the space where SWSA is. I doubt they ever had any intention of having 2 SW themed rides in FL.

First phase opens at the end of the month. Last phase anticipated in late 2013 or early 2014.

Just curious: does anyone know if they have expanded the Utilidor tunnels under the FL expansion? Will we be walking on the "second story" as we are in the majority of the MK, or is the expansion sans tunnels?

For that matter, how are the CMs now entering the Utilidor tunnels? Wasn't the main entrance pretty much where the construction is now?

We found the fastest way was to the right and cut around the lake through Seuss Landing, skirting the lake as close as you can, and then it is pretty much a straight shot from there.

I don't believe they are expanded the tunnels at all but there may already be tunnels there. I'm pretty sure all of the "expansion" area was in use at one time or another. Storybook Circus was Toon Town Fair and (most of) the main FLE was 20K Leagues Under the Sea.

I'm thinking that it's not going to create "waves" of new guests streaming in.

I look at the area as a nice enhancement to MK, but not a stupendous focused new "draw" like a Harry Potter land.
