Here is a link to a new (short term) Fantiasmic reserved seating opportunity if anyone is doen over Christmas.

There are a lot of us for whom the fantasmic lines are a real issues.

This give an alternate for those who do not want or can not do a sit down meal to get reserved seating.

I hope they continue it since it would be great for my family on our next trip (June)

It will be interesting to see how this pans out.
From what I have been reading, this temporary 'picnic seating' seems to be very popular. According to many of the things I have read, quite a few days are already sold out. That makes continuation after the holidays more appealing.

Since the food needs to be preordered, there would be no waist involved since they will only make as many as are needed.

It will be interesting to see just where the seating is and how it will be accessed. I know in the past, they have used the terraces behind the regular seating for parties. It will be interesting to see if the seats are there or somewhere else.

I saw this and I definitely have some questions that I'll just have to wait and see how are handled.

Will the seating just be in the same area as the existing FDP seating or will they add to the sections that are FDP reserved seating? If included in the existing, will they accept less FDP ADRs? If they don't then the section could fill up which would REALLY tick me off had I paid for the FDP.

Will there be allergy safe options? My kids and I can't eat a single one of those meals. It kind of stinks not being able to get this significantly cheaper option that takes a lot less time if there isn't an alternative. If this does extend beyond this trial period I'll definitely have to ask Special Diets about this.
