The passholder rates are totally not good. I'm paying way less for CBR this summer than I would in mid-November with the rate that just came out today.
Disney, please adjust......please????

It's a bummer they took away the Friday and Saturday night discount, but the other nights I was still able to get 35% off.

I've said it many times before but I wish people wouldn't book rack rate rooms to hold for discounts later, I think we'd get better rates if nobody booked anything until they came out.

Completely agree. We are doing a "cheap" trip in October and was able to switch from Movies to Pop and save a little, but not really what I was looking for. I'm going to check back in 3 days because a lot of times people do 3 day holds with travel agents and then it expires and maybe those rooms will go back into inventory. Either that or they didn't release a lot for discounts, which could be the case since I was on so early!

I feel the same way about booking rack rates with the plan of getting a discount. However...... Times I knew we'd be going anyways, I'd take the room and roll the dice. The amount of times a discount would roll out with Disney increasing the rack rate was very surprising. Often the previous rack rate was cheaper than the new rack rate with discount.

Yes, can be true!

Mid-Nov is a much more expensive time than summer for the trips I’ve done so that’s not new. That said nixing Fri/Sat discounts like this is Disneyland hurts.
