I think I was a beta tester (not that I knew about it!) Because I got the update about a week to a week and a half ago.

I was a bit confused at first, but I now find it easier to manage! I hope you will in a week too!

I'm not one that likes change - but I guess I'll get used to it, adapt to it.
This morning FB confuses me because I see different list of items in my Newsfeed when I post a message then go back to Home.
Are there settings I can change to get it back to more like it was before instead of the Newsfeed?

I'm actually getting really sick of how often Facebook updates the home screen. It just gets tiresome trying to figure something out over and over and over...

They are slowly rolling it out. Not everyone sees it yet. DW has it, but I don't yet.

Yeah, I think it'll end up being very good. They've really thought things through, and have made changes that reflect what is needed to address a lot of the issues folks had with the older UI.

As one would expect, though, lots of folks will criticize the change. It's really hard to appreciate how much better something is when you're in the process of coming to understand what you need to do differently.

I have the new layout, and I don't mind it. I think it might be easier to use in the end. They seem to be changing things around a lot lately.

One of the things they're doing, I know, is addressing a major problem vis a vis the news feeds. The problem, in a nutshell, was that some applications were flooding the newsfeeds with postings that really were only interesting for other folks using that application. While there were tools provided to filter out posting related to applications that you don't care about, the pollution was incredibly bad, and the user-base for Facebook includes so many folks who just want things to work without them having to do a lot of manual configuration. So they really had to do something or risk driving a lot of the less techie-inclined users away from the platform.

Now, I'm not sure, in the end, how these UI changes mesh with that. I think what you're seeing is the roll-out of the UI, which will later be followed by changes to the platform to address the problem I outlined -- changes that required that the UI be changed first.

No change on my side, either. Friends keep posting about how they really don't like it, but as long as I can see what I wanna see, it won't make or break me!

Mine changed. I don't really mind it. I'm mostly on Facebook from my IPhone, so it won't effect me too much.

Mine changed today, I like it but I guess I wish they'd just leave well enough alone. Seems like you figure it out and then they change it again. Be sure to go in and change your privacy settings, mine switched automatically with the new program and I had to go in and change it to "friends only" on a lot of things.

Actually can't remember the last time I went on Facebook on the computer!!

Even if I'm sat at the PC i'll pick up my phone for Facebook

Mine changed a couple of days ago. It's sort of a hassle because I have to click Home to see my Wall rather than it coming up automatically as it did previously.
