Its just been anounced that our local train service HUll Trains are running 7 trains to london st pancras to link with the new euro star departure point so hull to paris will be 6hrs 10 mins how great is that i no longer live in the back and beyond ive got an escape route

Me too... Love the Eurostar! Will be much more convenient for us to travel from St.Pancras - we live only one stop on the tube to Kings X.

We love the Eurostar too!

However, I am one of the people that isn't pleased about the move to St Pancras. We will likely get on at Ashford rather than cross London in a taxi, either way it will add at least £10 to the cost of our tickets

Still more convenient (and maybe cheaper) than flying though

Thats brilliant news for us too!

We are equal distance from 3 main stations - Hull being one, plus with family in Hull we could be there for the earliest train.

Definatly going to have to check out prices again as this would eliminate hotel costs for overnighting in London
