New Englanders, Who is still mowing the lawn?

I mowed Friday. I could mow again today. I might wait until tomorrow but that is as long as I can go before I have to raise the blade which is already high. I like mowing but the grass is wet now and it is CHILLY outside.

We need to mow at least one more time before we give it up for the winter. I'd like it cut before I try to rake some of the leaves off it. Although we have a lot of leaves that haven't fallen yet.

My dh mowed 2 weeks ago but I know it needs another mowing before the snow falls.

I don't want him to mow it yet because we cut down a bunch of trees a few years ago so our front yard is not covered with leaves like it used to be. I need the leaves from this one tree to make them a pile to jump in.

The back yard still has a ton of trees but we cut down 20 trees 3 or 4 years ago & are still trying to fix it up to be grass.

DH mowed Saturday, but he will likely mow once more before snow comes. The catch now is, we have multiple black walnut trees and the nuts are falling quickly; we will certainly have to get the mower blades sharpened before next year (what a racket he was making while mowing)! DH kept asking me why the many squirrels in our yard were not doing their job and keeping up with the nuts .

yeah, we need to mow again. I think the lawn grass is taller than my pasture

I need to mow one more time. And use the trimmer around all the buildings.

My DH just went over it again yesterday/today for hopefully the LAST time!

Got the wood stove going Saturday night and tonight too. I hate starting it but it does feel nice & cozy in here tonight

Still mowing here too. We usually wind up mowing until right before Thanksgiving. That way we just mulch all the leaves and do not have to rake.

Unfortunately going to need one more mow, thought the last time was going to be it then we had all the rain and the somewhat warm weather roll through last week.

DH mowed yesterday. Hopefully that will be it, but I have a gelling we will need to do it one more time.

I mowed the front yesterday. Will do the back today. Lets see when I have to do it after that. I have mowed in November in the past.
