New Embroidery Machine

I am new to embroidery and willing to purchase a new embroidery machine just to learn the basics. Please give me your suggestions and references if you have. Would they provide manual to operate it. Thanks.

If you just want to embroider I would suggest the brother pe500 but if u are a sewer I would get the brother pe400 since you can do both. My friend has the brother 400 model which does both sewing and embroider.

I love the 500 although it only does 4x4 (and smaller) designs. But great for beginners.

The 500 does come with instructions and has an automatic needle threader.

I have the brother se-400 sewing/embroidery combo. It can do up to 4x4 designs. It's what I learned on! It does come with a manual that helps explain how it all works!
