New eBay auction 8/16, for a GAC

I've tried reporting item # 180149920142, but the system will not allow me to. It keeps telling me to use a valid Item number. I pulled it directly from the auction. If someone else could try, I would appreciate it. I'll try again when I get home from carpool.

OMG!!! read their description--it is telling people they don't need to look or be disabled. Works like a charm.

This is a red and white guest assistance card, issued to me by the Magic Kingdom due to health reasons. You can only get these if you are disabled or have a note from your doctor. I happened to have a note from the doctor because I am severely anemic. It has my name on it (female) and says 2 in the party. So you and one guest will be able to use to by pass all of the super long lines at Disney World!

My 12 year old daughter and I used this on the 9th in the Magic Kingdom and we were treated like VIPS in the park. It was great! The pass says that guests can use an alternate entrance where available and that it is not intended to provide immediate access. However, we used this the entire day and got right on every single ride and show we wanted.

For the attractions that have a fast pass entrance, you go to the fast pass return line and show your card. They let you right on. For the attractions without a fast pass, you go to the exit and they stop the lines for you and let you on immediately. It was great!!! I am only 35 and do not look like I have anything wrong with me, neither does my 12 year old daughter. So you will be able to use this even if you dont have any signs of being disabled. You and one guest will get to see and experience everything in the Magic Kingdom in just one day, like my daughter and I did.

They wrote an EXPIRATION DATE on the card, it EXPIRES 8/20/07. I can ship this overnight to you at additional expense. It says it is good at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and MGM Studios, but we only used it in the Magic kingdom.

We also visited Disney Quest. I showed this card to them and they gave me a purple guest assistance card. It worked for all of the rides in Disney Quest as well, especially Cyber Space Mountain, which the line was VERY long for! We rode it twice!
These cards work like a dream! It is a little beat up from being folded and in my pocket all day, but it is totally valid and will be accepted at all rides and attractions. It is great. Be a VIP at Disney!!

I have reported it to ebay and Disney. Once again, I am desperate for $ because we are moving to a state with a good school for autism, but I would never sell a used GAC. I leave my stroller as wheelchair sticker on the stroller at all times.

Please explain to me why people do this?

I agree, very frustrating to me when I see this. I have one child in a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy and another who is autistic. We are regulars at Disneyland and see GACs being abused on occasion there too. But to sell one on Ebay? Sad to see one's ethics can be bought for the "buy it now" price of $99.99!

They do it because they are greedy lowlifes. They don't care that their actions hurt the truly disabled who need these cards, they only care about making a quick buck.

Thanks everybody. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I went to the item number, then clicked on *report item*. After I went through all the options and wrote a lengthy explanation, it wouldn't allow it to go through because it said I had to use a valid item number. I got the stinkin' number from the item itself. I'm so frustrated.:headache:

Who knows how she actually got it? She probably lied about how she got. I'm betting she either bought it herself or told the CM something other than anemia.

I am closing this thread since it is no longer pertinent as the sale has apparently been pulled.
For future reference, the information on how to report a sale such as this to ebay is listed in the disABILITIES FAQs thread.
I would appreciate any future threads like this to stick only to the facts about reporting, without any comments about the seller. That only brings problems.
And, I recommend people not to email the seller; if you do, please don't post any excerpts from the emails you sent or received.
