New e-Reader "The Nook"

Wow! I thought Barnes & Noble was going to pair with the upcoming iREX reader. This device appears to sell ~$150 less than the iREX but unlike the Kindle still supports the open ePub format (in color!). Wifi & 3G connectivity plus a touch screen. I have been in the market looking for an eReader so this one is definitely worth a closer look...

I started another thread re: the iPod Touch and Kindle, but now I might have to look into the Nook. Looks great!

There is another reader by Plastic Logic called QUE but it seems geared towards more business.

Seems like ePub is going to be the winning format even though I still think that ALL eReaders are still way over priced.
