New DVCer Question

I'm official and in the system with Disney!!! YEAH... Here is my question. My use year is June and I want to make reservations for next end of March/beginning of April at OKW, my home resort. I know I have to wait until April 30th to do so. Would i be using my 2008 points or banking them? If so do I have to wait till June to make the reservation? It is a tad confusing looking at the DVC website.

Of course there is also a glitch already!! I was supposed to have 20 banked points from my resale contract and they aren't showing up on the DVC website. Do I talk to Timeshare store or Disney?

A March/April 2009 vacation falls with your 2008 use year. When you have a June use year, it runs from 6/1 to the following 5/31.

So your 2008 use year goes from 6/1/2008 to 5/31/2009. You don't need to bank your 2008 points to use them for a March/April 2009 vacatiohn.

I'd start with MS to see why the banked points aren't showing on the website. If MS says they see them, I wouldn't worry about the website.
