I just read through the policy documents as posted on our Member website for the new travel insurance. Sounds good, although I have most of this covered as a Canadian teacher with premium health insurance, as well as on my VISA, but for $79.00 there are a few good things I saw, the most important being:
** If a member purchases the travel insurance before or at time of dues payment, then the pre-existing clause is waived **
This is huge, as pre-existing clauses for illness go back 60 days, and are the reason why so many claims are denied. This is a huge perk, and I'm going to call for more info.
