I just put the deposit down for 160 points at BLT. I'm glad my sisters told me to check into this more -- it fits the way I vacation and that I can use the points at other resorts besides Disney (yes, I've read that's not the most economical use of points) was appealing.

I can't wait for my first trip to the world and staying at BLT!

From what I saw of the models here in Chicago (it's nice to live near one of the few locations outside the world you can see these) it's perfect -- waiting for the paperwork to arrive to finish signing.

I absolutely think so. I've always wanted to stay at the Contemporary, but could never afford it. Since I worked the numbers and am able to afford DVC, while not the actual Contemporary, I think it's even better.

I also am looking forward to seeing fireworks from the Top of the World DVC lounge!

I finished the signing and am done with all the paperwork and now have my membership card.

My guide got me some cool Donald Duck pins, one of which is Donald with DCL and the DVC logo on it. Very cool!

I'm waiting for the dates for Star Wars Weekends to be announced because I want that to be my first trip -- probably a weekend (Fri-Mon) in June.

I can't wait!
