New DVC Member...DVC Closing Docs?

Hello,

I recently got my login to get into DVC (I called them after receiving my activation code).

I noticed that on the first login screen, the first step is return DVC Closing docs?

I haven't seen anything though via email, so wondering if I'm missing something??

I'm not sure if they changed it since I joined (3 years ago), but they always Fed Ex'd the papers to me. You just sign and send back in an envelope they provided. You can always call your DVC person, mine usually answers with no wait time.

Was this resale? I didn't have anything to sign on either of my two completely separate membership numbers last year.

I had read elsewhere that they had gone to online documents vs the old FedEx. I hadn't heard they were sending out DVC logins before the closing documents though. If you haven't signed your final closing documents to complete the purchase then this would appear to be the way they are handling it. There should be a phone number for Quality Control somewhere in the documents if you have any questions about it.

Can confirm that unless you ask for the paper docs or are international, they use Docusign so sign closing docs. OP should get a seperate email from DVC that is the Docusign contract documents.

It can also take a week or more to get the email and you may have to follow up if you don't see it. It was recently implemented and some of the guides are still figuring it out.

I did a small add on contract in January and I had to call my guide as I didn't get the docusign email. They resent it.
