New Driving Experience- Go or No Go?

Hello DIS people-
My husband and I will be on vacation Feb 11-18. I see that starting Jan 16, 2012 this new driving experience will be open. I would love to book the Audi (Iron-man Car) for him. As a spouse of the participant would I need to pay in order to view my husband on the race track and is there proper viewing shelter/ sitting area as I can not stand for long durations. Also if you could provide direction on how best to get to the track area that would be great.
During our stay we will be at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and have BASIC park tickets, we are going to MK on Sun and Thurs. I look forward to your reply post, this will be a great surprise anniversary present for my husband.

The track is in the parking lot of MK. You need to reserve your vehicle of choice at least 24 hours in advanced. I created this thread back in Nov concerning this experience: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2829875

No I do not believe you would need to pay as a spectator. As for seating, their website indicates "We have a special seating area set-up where family and friends can watch. They are welcome to bring video recorders and cameras."
