:offtopic:

After a lot of thinking and planning, I have decided to start on a new Disneyland Paris, resort guide and fan site. I do already own a website on Oakwood, a small Theme Park in Wales, and have decided to venture into DLRP.
The website will not contain upto date news or frequent updates, but the main news and photo updates. However, I only have a small amount of photos from the 2 parks and hotels. I need your help to make this site succesful, if you could please email all your DLRP photos to me: matt-05@hotmail.co.uk . It doesnt matter of what rides or anything, this would be very very much appreiciated and you will be credited on the site. I am also looking for someone to help me with the general running of the site, they could perhaps take photos and rummage the net for the latest news! Again PM me or post below or email me with the above address.

Many thanks!!
Matt :thumbsup2

That sounds great. Maybe next week I can send you some of my pictures!

Good Luck! :cheer2:

Thanks very much! If anyone who has pictures old or new, studios or park, hotels or village..please send them via the email address above!

How exciting!! :Pinkbounc I'm not sure I've got any decent photos - but I'll have a check for you.

Best of luck. :thumbsup2

Matt went to the site but says that it is currently closed.
What are you proposing to offer on the site? Are you looking at doing something unique that the other DLP sites you have been looking at don't do?

The site is closed, I was just giving you a feel of what I have to offer with the new site.
Many DLRP sites around right now dont offer everything in one site, many sites have great content but lack in quality photos and images, on my new site, I plan to offer both. I have found a few of the current unofficial sites around have poor designs that take ages to load, although they have good content. All the sites with good designs have poor photos and okish content. Thats why I wanted to offer both good designs, good photos and great content. I plan to offer a more detailed look at the hotels in and around the resort, and a more detailed look at the rides in the studios and park.

Yep, www.dlrp.co.uk is a great site, fab design and good content however the pictures are small and you cant open them up like a thumbnail.
Like I said before, I dont plan to keep everyone updated with the latest news or fast updates, but a guide to the parks and hotels, with updates on more of the bigger news stories.

Could it be that you are just collecting pictures for your own purpose? :smokin:

Your best bet would be to take a stack of photos when you go yourself - then you can take the photos you need for the website. Take a digital camera with you and you could take hundreds and use the best ones.

Thats what Im gonna do, but just needed some before I go for the holding page.

Matt, wishing you lots of luck in your new venture! :thumbsup2 We can never have too many DLRP sites to look at! :wizard:

Indeed - good luck with the site.

I know someone else ( :rolleyes1 ) who has been working on a DLRP website but it won't be launched for a while yet...

Just to bump up this topic, please send all your disneyland paris related pics to matt-05@hotmail.co.uk
I have started working on the home page, i have a banner and navigation bar, and have just finished making the interactive map!

Ok, I havent given up..and have ordered the .co.uk domain today, will be revealed later.
Meanwhile the homepage is up @ www.liquidstorm.co.uk/disney (temporaryaddress). Please note the links arent active and its not finished just a homepage preview!

Feedback welcome!
Matt

Oh go on then, this is mine so far - same thing really - links on the most part don't work though the links for Disneyland park and Disney studios do work to show the main banner changing and also to show right hand navigation ideas.

It'll be a while until it's ready as I won't be doing a great deal more until the move.

Looking good Matt.
