New Disneyland Tour - Ghosts and Haunts

I just received this information in an email today:

Disneyland to introduce 4th Guided Tour: Mysteries, Myths and Legends

I'm very pleased to introduce to you what will eventually be Disneyland's 4th Guided Tour. A Ghost and Haunts Tour.

Starting October 4th, Guests will have the opportunity to take this 2.5 hour tour during the park's closing time and into the after hours. The tour run will undergo a 6 week schedule of approximately 24 tours in all. This will be a limited edition seasonal tour. Each tour group will have a maximum occupancy of 20 people.

During the tour guests will "learn about" various "Ghost" stories and lore (entertainment purposes only) about some of the more "out of the way" places in Disneyland and California Adventure (even some Ghost stories relating beyond the Berm of the parks).

The journeys will take guests onto at least 3 Disney attractions which will be tied into the Storyline of the tour.

The Tour as was mentioned above will take guests into both parks. Cost for the tour has yet to be announced. Tours will be scheduled through Disney Resorts Sales as usual.


Reservations will be opening on September 4th and can be made by calling Disneyland Resort Sales at 714-781-4400.

Please note that a 46" Height Requirement and the ability to navigate stairs in some fashion will be necessary due to the nature of this tour. The Tour will start approximately at 6:00pm inside of California Adventure. This is when California Adventure will be closing. The tour will head into Disneyland during its final hours of operation for the day. While you might be inside Disneyland after park closing, it is not to be expected that you'll be the only guests in the park.

A special Halloween tour will be available as well on that Halloween weekend.

Then again I still really want to do the new Walt Tour and the Discover the Magic tour

This sounds awesome. I've been wanting to do the Walk in Walt's footsteps one, but I'm afraid I might know more than the tour guide, but on this one I'll definitely learn something.

When I called to book this tour for any of the last four days of the month, it was sold out. In fact, the CM said everyday had sold out within a few minutes. We were bummed

But still hoping to hear someone's review of it who goes early in the month, would still love to hear how it was

My husband went on the first tour on 10/4. He thoroughly enjoyed it. We both took the tour on 10/5 and loved it. I don't want to give away any spoilers, so if anyone wants any information, please PM me.
