this is going to be amazing.

I'm torn between snagging a spot on Main Street and snagging a spot where I can see the Matterhorn. My plan is to watch the parade and the the fireworks directly afterward. What would you guys do? I am going for the 24 hour event on 5/22, so there won't be ab opportunity to talk to other people about where they watched the show, and what spots are best.

I'm working on my strategy for June. We have a 7:20 reservation at Blue Bayou that I'm thinking of changing. I've seen Fantasmic and will see it again when we are at WDW in 2016.

I can't wait to see the new fireworks! I'm going for the event, too. I was originally going to do Main Street, but now I'm thinking I might try for a view of the Matterhorn, so maybe in the hub? I don't know what will be best. It should be good from a few different places. I think for me I will play it by ear and just try to get the best I can. I'm even tempted to watch from Fantasmic as I heard they're using the water screens there, too, then catch the later parade. There's just so many ways to choose. I look forward to hearing everyone's opinions on it from all over the park.

I've been feeling rather ambivalent about the 60th stuff (because I'm a stick-in-the-mud type that feels cranky when I think the 60th will overtake the Halloween and Christmas things I'm used to and love, lol!), but this makes me excited! Not feeling ambivalence, anymore....

We're staying at Paradise Pier tonight, and when we checked in today the cast member told us that there is going to be a rehearsal tonight and tomorrow night (hence the 7:30 closing time) of the new fireworks show. Hoping to check out the sky tonight. the music won't be piped in, and obviously we won't see the projections, but still...

I know what you mean, I am making a quick 2trip to DL next week for the 24 hr event so really I will only have 1 day to see the fireworks, but than the end of June I will be there 5 days
