New Disney Visa Offer - Double Reward Dollars!

I received a postcard from Disney Visa in today's mail. It says that I can earn double Disney Dream Reward Dollars for all purchases charged to the card from 3/15 - 6/30/04.

The offer states "earn 2% in Disney Dream Reward Dollars for every $1 you spend over $150 each month from 3/15/04 through 6/30/04. Earn 1% in Disney Dream Reward Dollars for every dollar you spend up to $150".

This seems to be one the best offers coming from Disney Visa in a while. The only negative is that it appears that the offer re-sets at the beginning of every month.

Anyone else receive the offer?

I read your post and then had to go find my postcard.

I got a postcard too but mine states that you earn 2% for every $1 you spend over $850- not $150. If yours says $150- you really got a great deal!

I have been putting everything on this card- groceries, gas etc and average about $1000 a month so I would be only eligible for $150 at 2%.

I think it is a so-so offer but at least it is something more! I do have some business travel to do in April so that might help me earn more- too bad I already purchased my airline ticket!

I received a different offer for double rewards on groceries, gas, dining, utilities, wireless from 3/15-6/30. Some people don't have an offer attached to their account either

There is a thread over on the budget board and someone called Bank One and those that use their card often, aren't receiving this promo. I have two DV and my new one has nothing attached to it.

Mine came this week, it's for any purchases over $150.

Someone on another website thought that the differences in amounts were different based on the region you are from.

I'm not sure, but I'm putting the balance of my room bill on my Visa on Monday!!

I am going to WDW in May (have the Disney Visa code) so I can earn double reward dollars for most of this trip!

Too crafty of them to have different offers!

With all the high tech marketing and customer tracking they have at their fingertips, they probably looked at spending habits and knew that sending me the gas and grocery offer would cause them to pay big time- same thing for the over $150 offer! LOL!!!

Well, at least I got some sort of offer!!

No offer here. I have e-mailed them to ask why? I charge ALOT but never carry a balance. Maybe that is why. Just doesn't seem fair.

I too use my Visa A LOT with no balance and I didn't get any offer either. BUMMER!

I don't keep a balance, and I got an offer for 2% on groceries, gas, dining out, utility bills, insurance bills, and wireless service. I charge an occasional meal, and I charge my wireless service to another credit card. It really isn't going to add up to much for me--a couple of dollars tops. Not even worth going through an changing the wireless service to this card.

Funny how the offers are different for people.

For those of you who haven't gotten any offers yet, perhaps you'll get them on Monday.

I didn't apply for the Card. Did I make a mistake???
My thought was that ..I have a DVC and the rewards were (I beleive) to be accumulated for future vacation packages.
I just thought I wouldn't need it??
Your thoughts??

You can use the rewards for anything at WDW - food, hotel, souvenirs, etc. You can also use it at the Disney Store.

I haven't gotten one either. I check everyday. Our WDW payment is due in a couple of weeks and it would be great to get double points.

My offer stated 2% on charges over $350.00, never carry a balance on my card. Very interesting as I didn't realized there were so many different offers.

I just got my offer yesterday (same day my monthly bill arrived too, but I don't know if that has anything to do with when you will get the flier).

Mine said:

I'm really frosted! I NEED this double reward thingie!!!

We just bought a $4000 furnace yesterday and I want to earn double rewards on it! Plus our $1000 balance is due to Disney next month for our vacation in june! That would be $100 in reward $$$!

I've talked to customer service and there's no offer on my account...and nothing they can do to add one to my account.

Just a question...are any or all of you DVC members or have another Disney-related membership? The Cust. Svc. rep I spoke to seemed to think that it may be related to that...

I received the double pts. after $550. I don't own DVC, but I do subscribe to the Disney Magazine. I also try to get a new promo tape (or dvd) every year, maybe it keeps me on the mailing list? I'm also one of the luckie ones who gets postcards, although they always come in between trips and we can't use them! It's too bad they can't make their offers available to everyone though.
