Just got an email that will be of interest to all of you waiting for summer codes. Disney Visa card holders can book a 5 night stay at a Value resort, including 6 day park tickets and the dining plan for $435 per adult, $176 per child 3-9, for stays August 13- Sept.30th.
This will be released to the general public April 4th.
Sounds like a great deal to me. As a Florida resident I can't help but think of it as,"the hurricane special."

I wonder if this is about the same deal as free dining. It actually looks like it to me, but I have not done the numbers yet.

So what is the weather like in September?

I ran some numbers and it looks like the dining is just about free. They are just promo'ing it differently this year.

what do you mean released to the general public on April 4th? Meaniing that this special will be avaiable to the general public, or that this promotion will be released to all disney visa holders on April 4th.

I just booked 7 nights at the CR Concierge from Sept 23-30. 7 day PH tickets and FREE DINING!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks DIS and Disney Visa!

I thought it was just for Value resorts.

Disney holders can call now and reserve and it opens to the general public April 4th.

Generally they quote Value Resorts, but you can apply the code to all levels (value, mod, deluxe if there are rooms available). It is available NOW for Disney Visa holders and will be released to the public on April 4.

It say "will be released to everyone else" on 4/4/06. Sounds like the general public to me. :thumbsup2

The weather in September is hot, humid and about a 100% chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. It really dosen't cool down here until late October.

I'm a Disney Visa card holder but didn't get the email. Has anyone tried calling without the email? Do you need a PIN number?

This is available starting tomorrow for ALL Disney Visa cardholders.

Is there a special phone number to call? Does anyone know if this qualifies for the 0% interest for 6 months on the Disney visa?

Yes, it does qualify

Does the entire package price need to go on the card all up front to qualify for the 6 months 0%, or if you put the deposit on the visa and then also pay the remaining balance (later) on the visa does it still qualify for the 0%?

I don't have a Visa card so I guess I will wait impatiently for the 4th... my question is... I already have a package booked... can I just apply the code to that package or will I have to re-book? Should I stress or are there normally plenty of rooms/packages available?? :confused3 Thanks in advance!

Looks like this ends Sept 30th right? I'm hoping for a early October trip

I was able to just apply the code to my existing reservation. I didn't have to cancel and re-book. It took them two seconds to say "you could save $500".
