New Disney Transporation From MCO To The Dolphin?

Hi Everyone

I thought as the OP I'd jump in here. First off thanks for the "passionate" responses and good advice regarding travelling on the plane. I just wanted to comment on a couple of things.

And I can't believe the OP is staying Concierge/Club level at the Dolphin and says he can't afford the ticket? Give me a break...

Anne, I totally understand your point of view and yes I'll be looking into purchasing a ticket for my DD. However as another person pointed please find out the facts before you post back. Your post was very aggressive and really unnessesary to get your point across.

We normally cannot afford to go to Disney at all. This is a special trip for us (as have been the last 2) and yes we are staying at the Dolphin club level. The only reason I'm going on this trip is through a conference that my work is paying for. My father is using all of his airmiles to send my DW and DS but unfortunately does not have enough for everyone. So no it's not like we're livin' it up and I don't really care about the safety of my kids. Quite frankly the airlines have this suggestive tone where it's the norm not to have a ticket for a child under 2. Your point is well taken in if things don't go well on the flight. And yes I would hate to see ANYONE get hurt.

I was sitting here thinking...if my son wants to fly with his cat to Florida, it will cost him $50 to put the cat, in a kennel, underneath the seat. Why does it cost to bring an animal that doesn't take up a seat but a child can sit on your lap for nothing? Just an idle thought, nothing more.

I think we all need to know all the facts before we have an opinion.

But the cat will be a lot safer if there is turbulence or an emergency.

Have a great trip. I am impressed by your kind response to the prior posts. It always concerns me when somebody says they would like to "kill the one year old" because of their behavior and then challenge somebody's parenting. (by the way I am an advocate of purchasing seats for all passengers) I do think that segregating passengers with children from those that do not wish to fly with children may alleviate some of this. Kind of like the smokers and nonsmokers. I always feel relieved when I see passengers around me with children when I am flying with my own children.

Well...my "baby" is now 14, and he has 2 older siblings. I flew with all three kids when they were under the age of 2 (NOT at the same time!) and they were all lap babies. I guess I should be thankful they lived through those flights! ;)

I don't know what I'd do if I were flying with a baby again. But I DO want to commend Andy on his good attitude towards those whom I consider to have been quite harsh.
