New Disney Store at Toronto Eaton Centre

Just noticed that a new Disney Store will be opening up in the Toronto Eaton Centre. The hoarding is up. No opening date was shown, but it will be nice to finally have a replacement for the old Disney Store that was shut down a number of years ago.

There's always one at Yorkdale Shopping Centre for those who need a fix...you can even trade Vinylmations there and the greeter who used to shout / announce all the specials at the Eaton Centre store is there at Yorkdale.

Right. But those two locations are not convenient at all if your only in the city to see a show or something. You have to go out of your way to get there.

Yay! I don't live in Toronto, but I frequently make trips in for a day. It will be great to be able to pop into the Disney Store, even though I don't buy much there (it's just not the same as WDW!)

I was just in the one at the STC. The staff was AMAZING. Everyone was so helpful, enthusiastic, and just plain fun.

I checked a few days ago and the boarding was still up and still no opening date posted. I live just 2 blocks from the Eaton Centre and am going again today. Will report back if there are any developments.

I didn't think the old Disney Store was up to par. It was in its day, but it seemed they never made any upgrades or improvements over the years, and their merch selection was definitely not the greatest.

I'm sure this new store will have all the latest and greatest innovations and I hope, at least a few T's and items for adults.
