Can someone please tell me why is it called the dolphin where there isnt any dolphins around? All you see is fish. Unless there are dolphins. Im not sure never been there before. But of all the pics I see its always fish and no dolphins. Unless they are dolphins, but they dont look like dolphins. They look like fish to me.

There is a fish called the dolphin that is entirely different and separate from Flipper-the-mammal dolphin.

Those are dolphins... some kind of Japanese Dolphin if I recall correctly??? Notice though, that there are leaves on the building?? Why would dolphins be on a building that has leaves?? Well... if you were to look at the Swan Building- it has waves painted on it. When the buildings were being constructed, they put the Swans on the building that the Dolphins should've been on, and the Dolphins on the buildings the Swan was supposed to be on! And then decided it wasn't worth the expense ( I guess!) to change it. Whether or not this is truth or Urban legend??? I don't know! All I can tell you is that that is what was told to me by the driver of the Breathless when we took an Illuminations tour one night.

Well... if you were to look at the Swan Building- it has waves painted on it. When the buildings were being constructed, they put the Swans on the building that the Dolphins should've been on, and the Dolphins on the buildings the Swan was supposed to be on! And then decided it wasn't worth the expense ( I guess!) to change it. Whether or not this is truth or Urban legend??? I don't know! All I can tell you is that that is what was told to me by the driver of the Breathless when we took an Illuminations tour one night.

I'm pretty sure that's just urban legend. The bus, boat, and monorail drivers are known for spreading urban legends.

The Dolphin is called the Dolphin because it is topped with dolphin fish (not regular dolphins).
