NEW Disney Resort ID Cards

Just returned yesterday and hadn't see this posted earlier. Now when you check into your resort, everyone in your party gets their own resort ID card. You say, this isn't new??? What I mean is everyone gets their OWN ID card. No longer does all of the cards have one person's name on them. Each person gets a card with their own name on it. I guess this is all being tied to the EMH at the parks. Since everyone needs a card for a wristband. Just one of the many new things happening for 2005! I enjoyed the evening EMH at the parks and was there long enough to do each of the parks in the evening. AK was great and low crowds, but the others were pretty crowded. Not bad, but still a wait of 10-15 minutes for most rides....no walk ons.

Yes, DH and I noticed that when we checked in January 6th. Although the card in it's self has not changed, Tink is still gracing us with her presence each person in your party gets a card with their names printed on it.

Yep, that's the 1st thing I noticed as I handed out the room keys this weekend.

My two boys will love this!!! They have always wanted their very own cards. It's about time was the first thing out of their mouth just now when I told them. Thanks for posting!!!

Thats cool. what do u need ur resort id's for- are they room keys? i know you need your park pass to get fastpass, do u need ur resort id as well? thanks, im new at staying in disney

I'm curious...

I know that Swalphin guests are entitled to EMH privleges - is that both for evening and morning portions of the EMH program? Does each person receive their own key there?

We're staying there in September and I'm just curious.

That must be why they asked for the names of all the people staying in the room when I made my reservation. I made the reservation the end of December for our trip in February.
