It's been sometime since I did Target -- I just went through my Gift Card stash though with a trip. So to make sure I have this right...I have this offer: Spend $40 3 times, get $15 in Target Circle rewards.

Obviously I'd have to buy $50s, but if I'm understanding correctly, this offer, when making 3 different Disney Gift Card purchases (and eGC sound like they work), I'll get the $15 bonus.

Am I following correctly?

Tangentially related - since we are potentially staying at the Swan on our upcoming Christmas trip - is there anywhere/anytime that Marriott Bonvoy gift cards can be found on sale or discounted? I have noticed that most of the popular outlets don't offer them. And funny, when I search them at Target, it brings up DGC as the result ... guess it knows me too well!

No, the 5% for your birthday is a coupon and coupons do not work on gift cards.

Only the Circle spend bonuses and everyday 5% savings from using a Circle card works on DGCs at Target.

Holy Toledo, you're holding that much in DGC with no tracker records of card numbers or where they came from?! Yes, you should start a tracker. Even if you can't bring yourself to track what you've purchased before, just setup the spreadsheet now and commit to tracking everything you purchase going forward.

Yes, track and if you are DVC consider applying some toward 2026 dues. I took the sage advice offered by others here and consolidated some cards and put $2,000 toward next year’s dues today. I need to do more, but it felt really good to lower my risk a bit.

Target - spend $40 x 3 get $15 ... I always just put the digital GC on a physical GC thru the dgc website immediately after purchasing. That way I don't have digital cards floating around

Anyone use target360? ... Says you get monthly 'freebees' or 'dollars' any good?

With Target Circle 360 membership, you get a coupon for something free each month. In April, they had $5 free of Favorite Day items (Target's brand of baked goods). In May, they had a free bag of Target's own brand of laundry detergent pods. And this month, you have a choice of $10 off Good and Gather or $10 off of Market Pantry Groceries or 2 free trail mix items. So far, I have been able to use the free items, but again, that will vary by each person.

I'm pretty new here, so this might be a stupid question. I want to buy an Inspire Key, but from what I read online I can only use one Disney gift card for this purchase, and the max amount you can load onto a gift card is $1000. Is this correct? If so, I think I'm looking at saving ~$100 by using gc, because I think I can buy the gc at 10% off pretty consistently, but for anything better than that the opportunity may pop up every 2 months or so.

And for the rest of the Inspire Key payment, does it count as Travel for most credit cards? I have some cards that have 3% in this category so it'd be nice to use that.

Just a reminder that if you are going to use your circle bonus together with the $100 One4All deal that gets you a $10 free target gift card, your qualifying spend will only be $90 since they take $10 off the One4All and charge that $10 for the Target gift card.

Saw the 5% back on Giftcards.com on my CSP today. Do we think DGCs will go on sale there before the holiday season like it did last year? Any DPs for that site? That would really be great if they did soon to cash in that 5% offer as well!

This is by far the easiest way to get 10% off plus whatever percentage that you receive from your credit card at grocery stores.

Others have recommended using the points for gas as you will achieve more than 10% that way but I just redeem ours for groceries since I pick up gift cards at Kroger 4x events for gas.

Disney tickets generally code as entertainment BUT I would post a thread on the DLR side of the board and ask. I would also mention the specific credit card as sometimes merchant codes can vary and that you want to use a gc for payment. That way you can confirm if the system takes gc easily or is known to glitch out.
