New "Disney Dollars" ??

Now that I have seen the new money (available for a limited time only of course), I've got to get me some. Stitch is adorable!!!!!

When the new Disney Money becomes available on May 5th, does anyone know if this is only available at the parks, or can you get them at Disney stores on that day as well?

Is there a phone number to call and order them?

Any info would help - THANKS

I went to our local Disney Store on Saturday to get some and was told that they were getting it in May. That's all they knew. Maybe if you call your Disney store they will know more than mine! I am going to call and find out if I can get them on Fri so I know we have them before our trip.

We're being told (at the Disney Store where I work) that the Disney Dollars won't come in until the end of May. I hope that's not true, but don't count on it.

The phone number we're giving out to order Disney Dollars is 714-781-4043. I've heard that some people haven't had much luck when calling--apparently, the cast members might not know that they're selling Disney Dollars, and tell callers to go to the Disney Store!

It's an automated recording that gives you all the information on ordering Disney Dollars by mail. You cannot order Disney Dollars over the phone. Here's the info in case anyone is interested:

To order Disney Dollars, call the phone number above, ordering is option #7.

Disney Dollars are available in $1, $5 and $10.

You will need to send a check or money order, payable to Disneyland for the full amount PLUS $10 s/h for domestic orders. (For international, you'll have to speak with the ticket agent.)

The check or money order has to be sent to:

P.O. Box 61061
Anaheim, CA 92803-6161

Include with the payment:

The exact denomination you are requesting
Your name
Mailing Address (no PO Boxes)
Phone number

Allow 7-10 business days after they receive your order for processing. Your order will then be shipped via Fed-X.

The $50 is SO CUTE!!! I thought it came out after 05/05, at least at the parks. But not 100% sure.

You can't pay by credit card, you have to purchase it with a check or cash. I've never had any trouble paying with Disney Dollars anywhere within the parks or the hotels.

Heads up--my Disney Store got an early shipment of ones, fives, and tens! The ones sold out very quickly, but I was able to get my five and my ten of the anniversary Disney Dollars.

I bought $50 Monday via a Visa Debit card - my store in STL only had $10 - they claim they are not getting the $1 and $5 bills until later on this month - they said they were shocked to get the $10 bills - and running out VERY quickly!!

Oops, I'm sorry--I posted to another thread instead of this one. I found out that my source was wrong. My husband assumed that because Disney Dollars are like cash, you could only buy them with check or cash; I assumed that he had actually talked to someone who told him that. So, when I said that you couldn't buy them with a credit card, I was very wrong, but I'm going to blame my husband.

Is it too late to deny that I said anything?

I went last night to my local Disney store and they had only received the
$10 bill with Stitch on it. I was told they did not know when they would receive the $1,$5, or $50. Guess I'll just have to keep on waiting. I also wanted them before my Memorial Day weekend trip so I could surprise my kids.
Eight more days before disneyland!!!
