New Disney Dining Experiences...A History Question

I posted this on the MGM Character Thread as well, but I decided to post it here also since not everyone is probably looking at that thread.

I have a question, in the past when new dining experiences began, was Disney elusive in discussing the new restaurant? Or in the past has Disney been upfront with when ps reservations would begin for a new restaurant? I am just curious.

I am hoping to get the new MGM character meal reservation for my little brother who has had to endure MULTIPLE princess meals with me over the years (I am such a HUGE Cinderella fan!!) and I am sure my entire family would love to have a new dining experience.

They are usually "elusive" if that's what you want to call it. When they start something new, it tends to take awhile for all the CMs to catch up. For example, CRT changes, or the best rate program. Some CMs know information, some don't. That makes it crazy when trying to figure out the information. The MGM thing I think is just in beginning stages. They have just recently done the auditions for characters, and probably are still working out all the details. This means, the CMs don't know either. Such a small group tends to know, the rest of us get confused, or impatient.
