hello. I have cruised before but never Disney. I am super excited that we will ever going in October 2016 since Disney is coming out of NY! I had a few questions

I have heard of the fe exchange. How do I become part of it?

I also heard of bringing a photo Matt or pillow case to guest services to be signed. I also heard to give candy for them. Just curious what everyone does like a bag of individually packaged candies?

I'm going on the Disney magic with a 5 year old and 22 month old girls. Anything special I should know to being for them or to look out for and make sure we see?

Thank you again for all your help and advice

Go to your Disney Meet Group thread and ask about FE there.

No more "Mickey Mail" photo mat/pillowcase thing so no worry about that anymore :(

Check your Navigator (daily newsletter) when you arrive at port for going to Guest Services/Port Adventure Desk to pick up free, but ticketed events, such as Princess Gathering and Ana/Elsa Tickets. Read Navigator carefully each night to see what activities you want to do. There are tons of scheduled Meet and Greets if your kids like Characters. Also activities in Kids Club for five year old if she would like that- there are Open House times when you can all go and visit Clubs. Nursery does cost money. Enjoy

Fish Extender exchanges are handled on your Cruise Meet thread. If they have one. To find your Cruise Meet thread (if it's started yet, it may be a little early) go here:http://www.disboards.com/forums/disney-cruise-meets.85/ and scroll down to find "Find your 2016 Magic Cruise Meet link here". Click on that and scroll down the first post to see if your meet has been started. If not, you can start it by posting on the "Find your 2016 Magic...." thread and saying "I'm starting the meet thread". Then go back to the main cruise meet page and ask Irish Cowboy to post your link on the first page.

They are no longer doing the signature drop offs at Guest Services. Apparently the program just got too big to handle.

Be sure to bring princess dresses. Yes, little girls wear them practically every day.

Thank you. I'm sad to hear they stopped the signatures at guest services. .

We're on that cruise. We do have a cruise meet thread so come on over and join. Its not terribly active at the moment but now that we're within a year of sailing hopefully folks will get more involved.

I hit follow thread and left a comment on the tread for the October cruise. Is that considered joining? I'm new to this lol thanks

That's it.

My apologies, but since you are sailing out of NY, I assumed you were on the New England/Canada cruise earlier in Oct, which is what I'm on. I forgot about the southbound cruises.

just to clarify , that means you joined the thread... but that doesn't mean you joined an FE. Check the posts and ask if someone started an FE and if you can join THAT group too. :)

Thank you. I think it's too early as no one is really in the group. I'll check when it gets a little closer thanks for the help
