Haven't been to WDW for 10+ years and until I started reading here I had forgotten how exciting it could be! Finally convince DH to start planning a trip for the kids for August 2009. Just wondering if any of you Disney experts could give me a hint as to when I should consider booking. We want to stay at a value resort (All Star Sports) but would definitely do mod if the price was right. We also want to do deluxe dining because all my boys can eat a ton and I think it would save us money... so... free dining would be great. There's just so much to know that I think my head is gonna explode

January of 2009. That's when you will know what the rates for 09 will be and what version of the dining plan they will be running - - doesn't sound like DDP for 2008 is going over very well. As for Free Dining, the offers so far this year (if going by the bounce back) are August 30 - Sept. 27. That means really the majority of your trip would be in September and not August. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the info.. my boss's wife is looking into it for me (she's a travel agent) but I'm so much of a control freak that I have to do my own research too! I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled and see what happens!
