I am on the phone with Disney to check for cheaper rates for an upcoming trip and the wait is longer than 60 minutes. Did a new promotion/discount/etc. get released today?

I know! I was on my way to work and using the blue tooth, so I was hoping it was not a long wait. You just never know.

So, I was only on hold for about 15 minutes and got through. I asked to see if anything new was released and she said no. I wonder why they said the hold time was so long.

I think they overshoot how long the wait will be.
I called last night at 7:30pm eastern and it said my wait time would be 30 minutes. It was actually 1 minute sooooo not sure why they tell you so long. Maybe to scare people off? lol
