New Discounts No-go 40% CR Theme Park View

I tried last year to do a bounceback and another pin code for the 40% off Deluxe on a Tower MK theme Park View.. With no luck.
I also tried to apply the new discounts to get the 40% discount on the Theme Park view for 1/27-2/4/11 I have reserved. No luck again..

If I wanted to change to Bay Lake tower or another CR room but not the Theme Park tower rooms the said I could apply the discount..

Is it normal that these rooms are not included in the discounts.?

cr tpv rooms are discounted this year we stayed 4th july weekened tpv room at 40%, off we also got atrium club tpv room for labor day weekened at 42% off, and we got a week in december tpv room at 40% off ,keep calling

We are booked at the Contemporary and for our time there are no discounted rooms at all.

We will be paying rack rate for our MK view as I am not changing resort as it is somewhere me & DH have always wanted to stay and it will probably be the last time we want to do as DD is getting older and we are DVC members and are planning one beds from next year.

We were able to get a TPV at CR for our stay at the end of September -- there was nothing available at BLT or Poly when we were looking. I really think it just depends!

It's all based on occupancy. If they have enough of that room type booked, it won't be included in the discount. Funny, when I was looking for a discounted room for last month, all that kept coming up were MK view rooms - but I wanted a standard view wing room! I finally got what I wanted, so don't give up!

I couldn't get the 40% discount for the garden view rooms, either. I guess the CR is not hurting for bookings, so these new discounts don't include it. Or some other unknown reason. I was able to get the $500 gift card, so that was better than nothing. We were blacked out for FD, so I was just happy to get something even though we were prepared to pay rack rate with no promos.

So for not but a small bit more we are getting 3 more nights at the CR !
11 Nights we are not going to know what to do with ourselves!!

We just did an 11-night trip in June and it was awesome. I thought we would be getting tired by day 7, but we would have stayed 14 days if we could have afforded it (money-wise and work time off-wise.) Now we are spoiled for upcoming trips!

Glad everything worked out for you! You'll have a great vacation. CR is one of the most underrated resorts in my opinion. It's a fantastic place to stay.

I was able to book Poly CL TPV with 40% bounceback offer for Nov 9th -13th. When I tried to switch over to AP rate this morning the CM told me that there was not any availability at Poly, CR of Gf even at rack rate for my dates (that was for all room levels not just TPV). I couldn't change my dates so I'm staying with what I have. So yes you can get a discount for TPV level it just comes down to availibility.

I booked Poly months ago and no discounts for me. I'm bummed, I might switch over to AK, I was really looking forward to staying at the Poly.

I had booked a Garden Wing - Garden View room from 1/6 - 1/10 months ago. I couldn't even get a AAA discount on it!! So when the 40% code came out it was no surprise that I couldn't get it for my room type. But they did have it for the tower both Bay Lake and Theme Park views. I went ahead and changed to the Tower - Theme Park and still saved $350.

It is just so hit and miss with what they have discounts on! I will say that I was very surprised about the AAA for the Garden Wing room. You would think you could always get a AAA discount!
