The deals for Summer 2017 has been updated

Book a 2, 3, 4 or 5+ night package by 28th March 2017 and get:

• Up to 30% Off your Hotel & Parks Ticket Package*
• + Free Half Board Meal Plan for the whole party*
• + Available during School Holidays

For arrivals from 29th March to 31st October 2017.

But breakfast will be a quick service breakfast in Disney Parks. Breakfast will only be served in the hotel if you book GF, CC rooms or suites.

I just tried to book it and the website is down. Darn it. It goes as far as to let me enter dates, then I get an error.

Ouch. Was getting 2 nights 2 days free the other day for August at the DCR, and this has bumped the price up considerably.
Okay for regular packages I guess, but not so good for the AP holder 1 person + guests package. Hopefully they won't change the xmas offer as well.

I've changed our booking - we were booked under the 2 nights 2 days free offer but have just paid a smidgen over £130 to get 5 nights free half board plus and we'll still get a hot breakfast in the hotel because we're staying GF at Sequoia Lodge. I don't like meal plans and prefer to pay as we go but we thought at £13 odd a day it was too good an amendment to miss out on. Now if shareholders discount is no more by the time our holiday comes around I won't be quite so upset.

Planning first trip to DLP in early June. I am weighing out doing the package with free half board vs purchasing room/tix/meals ala carte. (we are planning 3days/2nights at DLH). Wondering about the value of the half board. Above poster mentioned 13 pounds/day. Is that a good calculation per person? It looks like we would save a LOT, by going ala carte. Am I missing something?

Piggybacking - I know it's not a good use of the meal plan, but can we exchange the meal plan vouchers for food at a quick service place? Is there a face value on them? (We're staying at SL or NY, so my understanding is it would be the middle of the road plan, right?)

I don't think we need that many buffets and I'm not sure my son will eat much on the table service menus.

That was me - I only paid as little as £13 a day because I amended a previous booking.

I believe the face value of the plus half board voucher (HNY, NPB and SL) is going to be €36 adult €18 child, the premium half board voucher (DLH) is going to be €59 adult €31 child after end March 2017. Hope this helps in working out the maths!

I'm pretty sure you can use vouchers at counter service restaurants but it's not particularly good value as they won't give change.
