new deal is on Disney's website:

So, I booked a wood's view bunk bed room at WL for $255 a night for the end of May, hoping the discount will increase to 40%, if they ever release AP rates for my dates. ;)

Just saw it also! :cool1:

"Save up to 40% on late spring or late summer travel at select Disney Resort hotels for stays most nights April 28 to June 14, 2011 and August 14 to October 1, 2011. Book by March 27, 2011."

Added another one...

"Kids, ages 3 to 9, can stay and play for free when you buy a non-discounted 4-night/4-day room and ticket package at select Disney Resort hotels for select nights February 17 to October 1, 2011. Book by March 27, 2011."

We stayed at WL last summer and loved it... wanted to again this summer but cannot do it this year. We booked Caribbean Beach Resort this morning @ $138-150 a night. Saved us around $450 I think.

Thanks! Just booked mine and my parents trips for September. Hopefully my parents will be able to switch to free dining and I'll be able to switch to an AP rate!

We've stayed at WL before and I liked it! :thumbsup2 I would've liked to try AKL, but I couldn't concure with the rest of the family since they're still sleeping, so I just played it safe and booked WL.

I was booked at CSR for free dining and I would've spent less staying there, but no one else in the family was feeling it. So I lost the free dining, but I did out the numbers and even with 30% off WL it's about the same as if I had booked WL originally when they offered the free dining. I have a TIW card, so I can still save on TS meals. It's also $200 cheaper for the park tickets, since now I only need to buy 2 - four day passes for the kids, instead of 4 - two day passes. Husband and I have AP's.

We are going to book the kids stay free that is the better deal for us. Since we are staying at pop or CBR. Need to make up my mind pronto.

no option to save the offer - is that because it is a limited availability discount? would be nice to compare a few options...

Decisions Decisions Decisions

Right now we are booked in the end of September with the free dining, first stay at AKL. But with the new room only discounts that just came out I am pondering to switch to this. I went on the disney website and played around with our dates. With our dates at AKL we could save $422 dollars, not too bad I guess. If we stayed at CSR we could save $319, again not bad. I would love to stay at POFQ but they aren't offering a higher discount like for CSR? Maybe it is a more popular resort? Anyways I think the dining plan may be a bit too much food for just me and the hubby as we have surived in the past without it.

I have so many charts with different scenarios, it's nuts. :rotfl: I think with just two adults staying deluxe, you would save more with a room only discount. It's when you start adding in kids that it becomes more of a wash.

You are so correct. If my two sons were going I would keep it at the free dining plan cuz they can eat their weight in gold. But with just the two of us a room discount would definitely be the way to go. It is just now deciding which resort to book.

It costs us about $8.00 more with this offer than it does with the free dining offer we have booked. I guess having three kids is what makes the FD offer better.

I agree and I am driving myself nuts right now each time going back to a different resort:rotfl::rotfl:

Hi neighbor (I live in Lawrenceville), I priced out the kids stay/play deal. The free dining deal is better for my fam than the current one. I was telling my hubby that FD offer is better too.

Small world...I teach in Lawrenceville! We moved to the Grand Floridian with the new room discount. It only costs a small amount more.

I am tickled pink about the new deal!!! All the other promos ended right before we were due to check in (June 7). This new one ends the day we leave. I just saved $950 for 1A,1C at BC with 8DPH and DxDDP!!

SAB, here we come!! :beach:

Well I ended up booking pop with the kids stay and play free. Free dining would have saved me more but missed the booking deadline. That was one of the dumbest things I have done it a while.LOL
