Hello everyone

We have decided to plan for our first cruise in March 2005 with our DD, DSIL, and grandkids. We are DVCers so we plan to go on the 3 or 4 day cruise and then stay at a DVC resort (or vice versa, still thinking......)

Questions about booking the cruise: When do they release rates for March 2005? Any suggestions on who to book the cruise thru (Disney Travel, other travel?) And how far out from the date does the cruise start filling up (i.e. how long can/should we wait to book?)

I'm sure as I start doing my research and reading up on different websites, I'll find information on transportation options etc, but just want to start with these first. I'll be around with fill-in-the-blank questions I'm sure, and know all the great DIS people will be very informative.

I am very excited! I've been begging my family to do this for a few years! My golfer husband has always resisted but with the kids, he's finally agreed!

Hi Kathleena.

I'm a new cruiser also. We just booked a 7 day for March 2005 through Dreams Unlimited. So the dates have been released. If you go to the disney site you can't get quotes yet, but I think you can call disney directly to get quotes (not sure though).
Good Luck,
Kathy

We booked our January 2005 cruise this week! My travel agency is also booking a group cruise in April so I know the group rates (at least) have already been released!

I probably wouldn't go thru Disney directly as you can probably find a travel agency offering a rebate/stateroom credit for booking early with them! ::yes::
