New CRT menu- Lunch and Dinner now the same

The one time we at there was back when the dining plan was new. We got a chocolate slipper for dessert. My son wants to go back next trip for some reason, probably to check out the pretty princesses After looking at the new menu there is no way I want to waste 4 credits on that.

OMG, what a horrible menu! This is officially the meal I'm looking forward to the least...may even just cancel altogether.

We were there last week. The tasting plate included a piece of bleu cheese, a few cubes of cheddar cheese with a fig jam, some prociutto/salami/olives/pickles/pickled onions, toasted bread slices...similar to what is used in bruschetto, smoked salmon and a cream cheese type of spread.

This is what we had on July 17 for dinner. I ate some of the cheese, and my husband and daughter ate the bread. We left the rest. My daughter did have grapes and cheddar of her own. I really liked my steak, shrimp, and dessert, though!

The lunch menu always only offered the tasting plate for the lunch app.

I've only ever eaten breakfast and dinner there. It hasn't ever been particularly good. Don't want to share my appetizer anywhere. Gross.

So disappointing! We purposely reserved a lunch ADR and now this..ugh..Oh, if it weren't for my DD having her heart set on eating at the castle!!

We ate here 7/18. The "tasting plate" was a waste - only one in our party ate from it. We were a party of 7 Disney adults and were given two plates. DD10 asked for the cheddar & grapes bowl which the server was happy to bring to her. 5 had the steak which was ok, one had the steak salad (a salad is a salad where ever you get it) and one had the fish which was just ok.

I agree with PP's you are paying for the experience of eating in the Castle and the princess interaction - not for the quality of the food.

If the prices increased - do we get charged the difference when we dine? I paid at booking (OOP) 5 months ago.. will they charge me the increase when we are there?
