Has anyone been to CRT lately? Is the new menu change still going on and how was the food? Need some helpful reviews! Thanks!

subbing as well since we have gotten conflicting info on menu change... also, if it has changed, is it still all you can eat?

on 4/16, so a little over 3 weeks ago, and the week after Easter, it was the standard menu.

The Stuffed french toast on the menu was more like the chocolate bread pudding that I read about on the Disney food blog though. (I love sweet things, but didn't really enjoy it :/)

edit to add: also I don't know if it's a menu change, but we did not receive a bowl of fruit. We received a plate of small pastries with 3 strawberries on the plate, to share. For some reason, I was expecting a bigger variety of fruit

We didn't receive any fruit until we asked. The waiter didn't know why the "kitchen forgot".. Hmmm.... sounds like they may do this a bit different than a couple of months ago when we were there.

OK, so there IS a new menu...Is it still all you care to eat? Or do you order one entree and that is it? Is there fruit/pastries or just the entree you order? Thanks!!

We ate there last week. It was not mentioned to us that it was all you can eat and we didn't ask. My GF ordered the French Toast on the menu and it is more like a bread pudding. We thought it was very good. I had the Steak and Eggs and it was fabulous (best meal of the trip).

It is still all you care to eat. Your server should tell you but you can also order different items from the menu for your subsequent plates.

Thank you so much for verifying its all you care to eat. We're waffling about bfast vs dinner (or even if CRT is worth 2 whole credits!) and the all you care to eat tips the scale towards bfast. We're doing a later bfast - so really it will replace lunch. We will still have bfast and dinner though - so no cost savings there!

I have to say, it's very difficult to say that any meal is worth 2 credits but between the experience in the castle and the tasty food options, we book CRT for each of our trips. I love the new bread pudding as well as the yogurt with granola and fresh fruit!!!
