New Costco parkhoppers

It's not worth it to argue. Drop it...Obviously some people have very strong opinions on this matter. I do not view it as scamming if disney allows it. If they were checking all ID's at time of purchase and park entrance and you still tried to use them without proper ID, well that might be a different story. As a SoCal resident I will buy these tickets for family who visits and I dont care if it upsets others. They are a product for sale and I will purchase it. There is no rule breaking there. Also Disney has said it's fine...as we did it in August as well, and therefore no rule breaking there either. As for rising AP prices...I still think the prices we pay for them now are a bargain and with inflation it was just a matter of time for those PAPs to cost more than 400 dollars...not because people are buying tickets that disney is selling. Thanks...that's my opinion.

Ok really I was not going to get into a pissing match with you but since you are accusing me and all of the rest of us who would like to do this of cheating and lying (would like to know where you got that from?!?) to break rules here goes:

I just called for a third time. I spoke with a supervisor in ticketing who I asked to call the lead at the turnstyles and she was told by the lead at the turnstyles that as long as there is a So Cal resident with the person they can use the 4 day park hopper from Costco and that Disney would not deny access. You are more than welcome to call the same number it is 714-781-4400. This is 3 out of 3 for me on this topic. So unless you are a CM with inside knowledge and can go to your lead to change the answers from those who are "outside of the loop" then you need to stop with the attitude and accusations against all of us who are asking so that we all can follow the rules. Since I have been told by 3 DIFFERENT CAST MEMBERS INCLUDING ONE SUPERVISOR, I am going to go ahead and purchase this ticket for my mother and we shall see who is correct after the 16th of October.

Thank you so much for doing this research for us. I would tend to believe a Lead turnstile CM over an AP holder any day of the week. Hope you and your mother have a lovely visit.

Um, ethical questions aside...it IS Costco after all. I believe unused passes are probably returnable if you just want to buy them and give it a try.

We bought the Costco vouchers for the Deluxe passes that originally expired in May. We had a sudden change in plans and had to cancel our trip. When we talked to the Costco service desk, they said we could return an unused voucher for a full refund, even after the expiration date. Luckily they issued a new voucher in the spring that then expired at the end of October.

Please don't take my word for it, however, and check with the service desk before you buy if you're going to try this option.

Those have been discontinued. They are now replaced by SoCal resident 4-day park hoppers with 365 day window expiration.

They can be upgraded up until the fourth day of use, but the AP will back-date to the first day of use.

But do they only give you face value credit of $159 toward the upgrade? If so, the only benefit to upgrading from this ticket would be that you don't have to pay the entire cost of the AP at once.

:goodvibesHey, guys. I haven't been able to be on the DIS much in the last couple of days, but I am now and I am catching up...and I think this thread has run its course.

Let's try not to be insulting, okay?
