New convert to the DDP!

We returned home last week from our trip. (with free dining) And I have to say...I think next trip, I will be using the dining plan, even if we are paying for it!
It was so wonderful to not keep a tally on what has been spent on food, on souvies, etc. The package was paid for 2 months before we traveled. I went to WDW literally, with less than $200 in my pocket. And we had a GREAT time! We definatly never went hungry, and our meals lasted so perfectly, that we used our last CS at breakfast at the food court on the way to the Magical Express bus!
So, I will DEFINATELY be using the DDP on future trips!

I just got back today and I have to agree with the OP. Our food was great and there were so many options to choose from.

I agree with you 100%! I won't ever go to Disney without it. We truly felt like we were on vacation because of it.

I just changed my reservation to include DDP. You folks made me glad that I did.
