New Contemporary Rooms?

Has anyone seen the new rooms at the Contemporary Resort? I looked at them online but was wondering what they cost because that is where my fiance and I want to stay for our wedding at Disney. Any ideas? We're getting married November 27 next year. Any other places you would recommend to stay for our wedding night?

At that time, all rooms in the tower should be renovated. I'm pretty sure that the South Garden Wing will be finished as well. However, it is still not clear what will happen to the North Garden Wing. I've heard that it will be torn down next summer, so I guess you wouldn't have to worry about getting a non-renovated room.

I'm not concerned about not getting a renovented room, I just love the style of the new Contemporary room. I love that it has suttle colors instead of really bright colors like most other resorts have.

The newly remodeled rooms do not have any true Disney theming except for 1 hidden Mickey in the room. The remodeled rooms now scream "Westin", which seems to be the model for the new rooms. They are very nice, but they feel like an upscale convention hotel, not a Disney hotel.

Thanks for the advice. I liked the way the looked because it wasn't full of wild colors but I'll have to look in them to be sure its what we want. Do you know how pricey they are?

They aren't any more expensive than the old Contemporary rooms, except for the normal yearly increase in rack rates (which happens at all the resorts every year). All the prices are listed on the Disney website, or on many other Disney fan sites.

I agree about decor--I think it looks beautiful! I would have never stayed in the Contemporary before, but the new room looks have gotten me thinking about finally trying it out

Do you know where they're located? I know there are Tower rooms, wings, and Concierge rooms but I'm not sure where they're located. I was wondering because there is a big difference in price.

Jess hooper right now they are redoing the garden south wing and the tower rooms (floor by floor). By your HM all contemporary rooms will be done with the exception on the north garden wing.(which may or may not be converted to DVC villas)

I'm not impressed by the new decor. I think the whole "Contemporary" idea has run its course.
