New/Conflicting info about reserving Shuttle at Radisson

... I e mailled and stated that I wanted to book 6 places on the 10:30 shuttle for 19th August. We don't have CRUISE package but I didn't mention this in the e mail. I just gave our names and the names that the rooms were booked under. They e mailled back today confirming that the places were booked. As an earlier poster suggested if you e mail or ring to *tell them* you want to reserve a place it seems like there are fewer problems than if you *ask them.*

This doesn't appeal to my British *fussy over good manners* nature, however we need to be on that shuttle - we 'only' have 3 night wonder cruise and I don't want to waste any precious minutes waiting for a late shuttle!!!!

I also E-mailed them and they called to tell me we were all set for the 10:30 shuttle.
I had tried twice before and asked to be put on the ressie for the shuttle and both times I was told I had to wait til check-in.
I don't know why the e-mail worked but I was happy it did.

I e'mailed the Raddison twice in the last week but didn't receive any type of a response. I called this morning and was able to reserve the 10:30 shuttle time for our group of 14 for 8/14. We have families, 4 rooms, so I asked if they needed all the individual last names. She said no, didn't want names or confirmation #'s, only wanted 1 name and reserved the slot for 14. She did say that I needed to confirm the shuttle at check-in, so I'll keep my fingers crossed and hopefully everything will be ok when we check-in.

We have stayed at the Radisson twice before and have always enjoyed our stay and we have not experienced any major problem with the shuttle. I can say that people and lots of luggage do gather outside where the shuttle picks up and even though you have a reserved time, it it has always been left to the honor system on how people board. I never understood why they couldn't give you a small card or slip of paper with your shuttle time on it to hand to the driver to ensure there was no cutting in line. Hopefully they will get a better handle on enforcing the situation.

IF ANY ONE IS INTERESTED I CALLED THE RADISSON TODAY AND HAD A LONG TALK WITH THEM AN MY CRUISE PACKAGE RATE OF $135 INC TAX WAS REMOVED AND MY AAA RATE OF $99 WAS PUT BACK ONTO MY RESERVATION THAT SAVED ME $100 FOR 4 rooms
i told the girl all the negative comments that was on the dis boards and she said she already knew. the management discontuned the cruise package being the only way to book your shuttle time befor you check in. now i have a cheaper rate and i got the 10:30 am shuttle fo my group of 13. if you dont get your way hang up and call back and talk to someone else. the manager told me that who ever is the mgr on duth he or she has to be out side with the shuttle to make sure you have the approiate time HOPE THIS HELPS ANYONE!!! THEY NOW HAVE A 25 PASSANGER BUS AND A COUPLE OF VANS
