John has informed me that we just MUST have a new Dell Computer NOW! Now I don't know why exactly except for the fact that he is learning how to teach networking a home or business to the guys at work and he has used our house as the guinea pig (Sp?) Anyway so even though we have two computers. An older off brand from about 5 years ago and the Gateway I am on now which is only 2 years old, now we need a new Dell so that we can run all 3 computers (den, our bedroom, J.C.'s room) on the same modem. "k" still with me here??
So we have been looking at Dells and picking and choosing options and came across the DVD rewriter/writer whatever...the thing that copies DVDs. That sounds really nice!! But so does the combo printer, scanner, copier.....we can only have one and stay within our budget.....we are paying cash, I can't stand another interest baring account....so which one do you think we would enjoy more.
We do have an old printer but not one that would print photos and scan...I have an old scanner too but can't make it work but I would love to be able to scan pictures from our wedding, etc.
On this DVD writer thingy....the one slot is a DVD and the other is the DVD writer, CD writer etc. So can you for example borrow a DVD from a friend and copy it just like you do with 2 VCRs???? or go to Blockbuster and rent a DVD and copy it like we used to do with VCRs??
Okay I need advice please!! John is ordering it tonight so the upgraded memory and monitor specials are still going on!
