New code, big savings

When I checked my emails this afternoon I had a notice that Mousesavers had a change, went to check it and to my delight I found a new code that would save us another $16 a day from the code we originally got. I called and wonder of wonders got right through. Even though all of my dates were not listed for the code I got the price for ALL of my dates (11th-27th). I saved over $250 on our whole trip. Guess we can afford an additional Dole Whip now! With luck this good surely I will do better at the Millionaire show. I will be playing on my anniversary. Can usually get in the hot seat but fall apart once I do so and only make it so far. If you are there that day please feel free to shout correct (and only correct) answers.

Was it BAP? I've kept trying to get this for our ASMovies reservation but it's only available at other value resorts. They have it for other values @ $55 a night.

Wow! Thanks so much for the info on the BAP code. It's too late to call now, but I will be on the phone first thing in the am. That's a pretty good savings! More money to spend at F&W and on souveniers!

I thought the BAP code was only for Florida residents ? Is there some other code around other than BAT and BAP ??

BAP is a code promoted thru McDonalds. For a short time confirmations had been sent out stating you needed to have a FL ID, but that was an error in the system. I have since gotten a new confirmation with that line deleted!!!

BAS is the other code out and is for booking online reservations thru http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/special/offerDetail?id=FallHolidayResortSavingsOfferPage

Yep, it is the code that you guys have mentioned. I think you are not allowed to say codes on the boards and so that is why I did not.

You have to make your ressies before October 10th and even though many of my days were not listed as available for the code I was given the $55 rate for all 16 nites. The link shows the code with different dates but Mousekeepers has the earlier dates listed.

I saved about $15/night at Pop Century with BAP vs. AP - which is weird because this is the first time I've found a general code that was cheaper than an AP code!!! I think it depends on if you're applying them in regular season or value season.

The BAP code is giving Value season rates of $55 at the Values versus the AP/EWP rate which is $69 regular season rate. I was surprised to find a regular code that was cheaper than AP. Heck, maybe they will put out an AP rate before we leave of $49. Hey, a gal can dream!

I believe BAS and BAT are the same code - BAS is for online ressies and BAT for over-the-phone ressies.

The BAP code is giving Value season rates of $55 at the Values versus the AP/EWP rate which is $69 regular season rate

You are comparing value rates vs regular rates - apples to oranges - from mousesavers, for the AP/EWP code: "Value Resorts - $49 standard, Value season; $69 standard, Regular season"

So the AP rate of $49 is less than the BAS/BAT/BAP code of $55...for Value season.

summerrluvv, it is my understanding that you are not allowed, at least I remember a lot of turmoil over such awhile back. It is alright to mention Mousesavers.com which will lead you to all the codes though. (smile)

Maybe they changed the rules since no one has been in here hitting our hands and threatening to close the thread down.

No it is actually an old rule. Now it is allowed except for postcards etc that only apply to a particular person.

WLLover, I am not sure if the code applies to other resorts. I am pasting the info from Mousesaver for you. If you do not know what Mousesavers is please Google "Mousesavers.com" and you will find all the applicable current codes. I am sure that there is one for you there somewhere.

I got the rate for my entire stay even though many dates were not included so it would not hurt to ask.

Code BAP will get you a rate of $55 per night at Value resorts for October "Regular season" dates that are $74 with BAT
Otherwise, prices are the same and the rooms all come out of the same inventory. The BAP promo states that the discount is not available for check-ins 10/17/04-10/20/04, 11/1/04-11/13/04 and 11/23/04-11/27/04, but some people have succeeded in getting the discount for some of those dates.
