I bought the magazine for $15 when I was at the Disney Store, but haven't had time to take it out of the plastic. It looks like it is going to be pretty nice. I'm not sure I want to spend $75 to join though.

I joined D23 and ordered the pins. The Tink pin was sold out last time I looked and the Plane Crazy pin was temporarily sold out, again, the last time I looked.

I posted about 1 month before the release of D23....Part of what I had heard was a club 23 much like club 33......We both joined, its pretty cool, and so far we have ALL the D23 pins.....

Here is the free litho gift...Its not framed, comes in a tube, with a letter of authenticity...I bought the frame...

Seems like we have two different threads going on - the recent notes are talking about the actual Disney D23 site, but the OP and msteddom and myself are referring to the "Club 23" site, which is apparently an April Fools hoax. Just to be clear...

There was another thread I posted on, where people were totally disgusted about the free gift.....Expecting more....I guess I wished it was more, but, its still pretty nice...Plus, you can only get it being a D23 charter member, according to the COA, and its stamped/embossed with the archives stamp/logo.....

That's too bad. I guess you can't please everyone. I was hoping it was something other than a lithograph or pins, but its still nice, I definitely won't gripe...after all, its free. I'm eagerly awaiting mine now, its the only thing that hasn't arrived. That's a nice size too. I can see me running out for a frame now too-yours looks great.

So, I am sitting in the car, listening to mouseguest podcast.....He starts reading from a press release about Club D23, and how its going to be a special club at hollywood studios...Sounds really great...THEN, I go to the club d23 website, which takes you to the mouseguest forums.....People are talking about it, then some say they joined D23 because of this....Then, people find out mouseguest runs the club d23 website, and people are NOT happy at this April Fools joke....Something wrong with that guy....That was not funny, and he opened himself to lawsuit not only by Disney, using the D logo, but, what about others who joined because of his release? Thats just wrong......
