Does anyone know if mousekeeping will change sheeting for longer stays. Is there a general rule after a week guests get new sheet? Or do you have to request. Thinking about a 2 week stay and if muggy would want clean sheets after a week.

Are you staying in a regular room or renting DVC? At DVC they only change sheets every 7 or 8 days?
I stay in the regular rooms and while I'm not sure how freq the sheets get changed, I've never felt they were dirty or damp feeling. We usually stay between 10 & 14 days.

In a regular (non-DVC) room, it's every 4 days. :goodvibes

We always stay a week. I don't think our sheets were ever changed mid-week. It was ok, cause we shower before bed.

There is a small card placed on the vanity shelf over the sinks in the regular rooms. You know the one- that explains about putting towels on the floor if you want them replaced and hanging them up if you want to reuse them? It also states that bed linens are replaced every 4 days.

I like mines changed every other day so I spill a little juice on the sheets that way they will change it. ;)

I always put the towels in the tub, if I'm doing it wrong I better read the card. I just thought if they are damp it's better in the tub than the floor.

The card used to say if you leave it on the bed, they will change the linen. I needed linen changed everyday once when I had poison ivy, and I placed the card. It appeared to be changed.

If you don't put them on the rack, they will be changed.

For me, I don't get new towels at home each day so I don't care. Once a week is fine with me so I always hang mine up. And I seriously do not change my sheets every four days. I could go my entire vacation without fresh sheets and be fine.

I don't wash my sheets or towels every day at home either, so I'm fine with the every 4 days.

I find the towels at the Pop are just too thin to reuse. Plus I get a room with a roll in shower and use extra towels as a kind of barrier once I am behind the shower curtain. The first time I used the roll in shower and didn't do that the whole bathroom floor got wet and was a slipping hazard for me.

I also bring my own sheets. (I'm a Princess and can't sleep on anything less than 100% cotton. :) ) I usually have colored sheets. I use to remove my sheets every day but last few trips I have called housekeeping and had them note on my reservation that the sheets are mine and please make bed with top sheet and blanket. I also ask them to take the bedspread.

For DVC, if you stay seven nights or less, you don't get clean sheets unless you pay for a full cleaning or wash them yourself. If you stay eight nights or more, you get clean sheets on day four, day 12, day 20, etc.

We were there for eight nights and our sheets weren't changed once. Once night we got back from the park and got into bed and there was sand in the bed. I called housekeeping and asked if they change sheets and they said only if requested to will they change sheets.
