Dateland, AZ, I have no idea why it has that name, in the middle of nowhere and has no right that to that title, but sure reinforces the concepts that you can grow dates anywhere in the desert. On second hand, it is not in California, which is truly a land of dates and have festival to prove it !!!

andrade Californina is now gone, even though there is a sign on the freeway saying it exists. It is the workplace of the border patrol at the gate into mexico, so I guess that border building receive items from UPS, and Fedex at Andrade. Use to be a trailer park, now empty.
