New "Cheetah Hunt" rollercoaster at Busch Gardens.....

Hi guys! Does anyone know how this is coming along and when it is scheduled to open!? I've heard 'Spring 2011' but hoping that it will be open when we go in March!! Looks great!

They say Spring,so they're not giving specific dates.Right now they still haven't gone vertical with the construction,it is a big,long coaster so there's still a lot to do.Unfortunately for you I doubt it will be finished by March,maybe late April or May.

Oh dear!!! I'm not having much luck this trip...what with HRRR broken at Universal as welll!! Fingers crossed that they hurry up and get ahead with their schedule!!

I just saw a photo update yesterday and no vertical construction yet,the area around the skyride queue still has major ground work being done.

Thanks so much! Anyone got any recent first hand reports of how things are coming along?!! I know in the latest e-mail I received from Busch Gardens it just said coming in 2011 whereas the first one said Spring 2011..........not a good sign?!!

I'm not sure if I just didn't see it or what- there was a large area of construction around Egypt/Edge of Africa. But I saw mostly dirt and it didn't look like a roller coaster as of yet. I could have been missing something or wasn't in the right place...

Track is being installed right now,screamscape has regular construction reports from 3 or 4 websites.

Looks like they are making good progress!! Does anyone know if they have announced an opening date/month yet as the website still says 'Spring 2011'.....hoping this is end of March/start of April!!!!
