new cdn code for travel early 2007

New code announced for travel in jan-mar (early) for cdn residents.
I just called today and booked...the only thing is the disney reservation system is under construction so they couldn't put the code on my file....i have to call back after 30th oct. to have it changed...but I got the booking with 200.00deposit.

ZCU for myw including dining....discounted rates .
ZCV for without dining.
I see on the mousesavers site they are offering free dining to U.K residents and this for our Canadians...it would be nice if they offered us the free dining.
The only problem like I said is they can't actually give you the rates until their res. system is finished being updated which is another week away she said. I gave her a deposit anyway as it is refundable.

Rates start at US$377 per adult for a 4-night/5-day vacation package,* a $114 savings. Other lengths of stay, hotels and seasons may also qualify for this offer at varying rates.
You must book by December 16, 2006. Reservations made prior to 11/2/06 require a Canadian address.

*Based on adult double occupancy for a Value resort stay, standard room, in Value Season (1/1/07-2/14/07). Savings based on non-discounted price for the

If they are not aware of it, wouldn't it make sense that it isn't an actual code?

It is indeed a code. I've applied it to enough reservations to know.

The reason that there is nothing in the Disney reservation system about it is because of the system outage that Disney is experiencing this weekend due to software upgrades. More information on this can be found here:

Disney Reservation System Outage Currently Disney CAN make reservations for travel, but the can NOT apply discount codes.

If you call CRO back late Monday afternoon, it will indeed be there.

Absolutely! The discount came out on Monday, October 16th. It is available from January 1st - March 8th, 2007 with some black out dates.

Since there is a code seperately for dinning. Does that mean there is a discount on the dinning plan?

No, the discount is only on room and park tickets.

The code is based on the package of either hotel and passes or hotel passes and dining thus the 2 different codes.
When I called today the girl on res. wasn't aware of the code but when I gave it to her she could pull the info up but just wasn't able to process the res. far enough to get an amount. She told me end of next week or by the 30th of October they could confirm the details.
It's definitely Jan. 1- March 8 th from what she told me though.
She also said the rooms at each resort are limited so I booked POR (which is what i wanted) and said I can always change or canel up to 45 days prior without charge. That's fine for now.
It may be my deal and I wanna have the option.

I have a family room booked @ All Star Music, I wonder if that will apply for me, if not, might be cheaper to do two connected rooms.
We'll have to see how it goes.
Sorry if I offended anyone, but the girl I spoke to at Disney said no such code existed.
That is why I was confused.
So I guess I wait until next week and see what my options are.

Simba - this exact same code (for the same travel dates) will be offered to US residents beginning November 2nd.

As for 'room only', unfortunately that's not going to happen. The only you will see (if any) will be AP holders /FLA resident room only rates.

Ever since MYW packages began, Disney no longer offers public 'room only' rates, sorry.

Madonna - I do have an AP. Another question -- with this promotion -- I need 7 nights. Can I book a myw package for the 7 nights but with only a 1 day admission tickets, so that I am eligible to purchase the dining plan for the 7 nights (which I know they sometimes let you do)?

simba....that is exactly what I have booked. 6 night package at POR with one day passes (min allowed) and dining plan.

...and seeing as you won't be using the one-day ticket because you have an AP, it's good for life so you can use it on another visit to the World.

I had 2 people who were on a CAA (AAA) room only rate and they both switched to this discounted package because of the savings and most importantly; being able to get the dining plan.

Hey....because the system is down they couldn't confirm the total with the discount. The regular price is 2069 usd for 6 nights POR with 1 day passes and dining package included. We just went in may and had the dining package....it is alot of food but definitely saved hundreds and I like that it is paid up before you leave and you don't have to pay cash or credit card each time you eat.
Anyhow the res. girl told me to expect the rate to be about 1600.00 but I have to wait until at least wednesday to call and see it in the system and have the exact rate confirmed..... I gave my deposit to hold the booking and can cancel if it isn't worth it.
We are also booked through the lotusphere conv. at POR but the rate of 122usd per night plus tax doesn't seem much of a deal to me so I thought maybe I should just book the package,

I was just able to upgrade my reservation at the Wilderness Lodge to a Courtyard Bunk bed with the park hopper option for $50 more than I was paying.
