British Airways have now completed the sale of its Connect routes to Flybe who have today released its new schedule of routes.

They will now fly from Cardiff Wales (Yippeeee) along with some of the smaller regional airports.

Click on the link for the routes but unfortunately it will be another couple of days before the new routes are loaded on their system to book.

PS : They have annouced opening offers so it might be worth taking a look if you are currently planning to drive or Train it to DLRP. :goodvibes

Thanks Sarah :thumbsup2 It will be interesting to see what the times and prices will be like for the Manchester-CDG route. Easyjet from Liverpool is great, but it doesn't hurt to have another option!

Nothing near us I am afraid:sad1: .I am sure someone will benefit though:)

Edinburgh appears as a codeshare but you can't check out any prices :sad1:

If its a new route, the prices wont be on for a few days yet.

When I rang them they also told me that the flights are released on the 1st day of the month, 6 months before departure = flights for October 23rd will be out on the 1st May etc.

I think the codeshare relates to it being a joint route between Flybe and British Airways so it may be worthwhile checking out their website too, just to compare prices :goodvibes

Flybe have just announced that they are pulling our of its flight routes from Bristol International Airport with the exception of the Jersey route.

200 jobs will either be lost or relocated :(

Mind you, its no surprise really as when we flewfrom BRS with BA in December there were about 16 of us on a private jet - nice for us but it must have been a loss leader for BA.

Fingers crossed that the Bristol travellers to DLRP can fly from Cardiff as Flybe's announcement yesterday.

Hi Sarah and everyone

Just wanted to let you know that I will be trying out the flybe flight to CDG from Cardiff in June.

Price wise it is not too cheap and a little expensive, however I feel being from South Wales myself it will be much more convenient to go from Cardiff for a little more money than flying from either heathrow with BA and Birmingham with Air France. Also looked at Easyjet from Bristol but found there are lots of hidden add ons.

If anyone tries this route before june, could you keep me posted on how smoothly their journey went?
Thanks!

Oh good - you can be our flybe virgin :goodvibes

What sort of price did you pay as we are used to about £100 each return with BA from Bristol (all extras inc).

Sarah

Hey

Looking at about 130 each at the moment extras inc.
Bit more pricey but thought saves the petrol and parking in other airports
