Yes, that's the one. I only had two of them, not three. One from the Bahamian 8-night out of New York on the Magic in 2012 and another from an Eastern Caribbean on the Fantasy in 2013. They'd transitioned to the canvas beach bags by the time I cruised on the Dream again in 2014.

Yes, that's the one for us too. Let's see...our cruises 2-5 (when we got the backpacks) were as follows: Fantasy May 2012, Magic Oct 2012, Dream Sept 2013/ Nov 2013. Yeah, Shmoo...I guess we had a fairly tight timeline for those. We got the Yellow bag without the rope handles in Dec 2014... man, it's been too long without a cruise! Come on August!

Just off the Fantasy this past weekend. While we have a plethora of the Yellow bags and backpacks, this one was a nice change of pace. We are also Platinum.

This picture was so cute, but I didn't really like this bag once I saw it in person. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be too, and I found the burlap scent to be overpowering. Oh well. Thankfully even though I was on B2B cruises, I convinced my stateroom host to not give me the 2nd one.

We use the blue/black back pack as our diaper bag. I'm liking the looks of the new bag, and I'm hoping it's what we'll get on our cruise in November. Thanks for posting!

Yes, on every subsequent cruse (after your first) each stateroom receives a Castaway Club gift. On gift per stateroom, based on highest Castaway Club level in the room.

The basic gift is a bag. Different itineraries have different bags (beach bags, backpacks). When you reach Gold level you get an additional gift (currently seems to be the silver insulated cup). Platinum level gets both the bag, cup and a choice of in room treats (truffles, sparkling wine, fruit bowl).

I really like the burlap canvass bag, I'm using it on vacation right now!

We sailed Princess in January, maybe our 8 th cruise with them, all at least a week, and they gave us a basic blue bag with straps with the Sea Witch ensignia on it. Sort of like an eco friendly grocery bag. We have that with us too!

The bag I like the best was the one we got on our Hawaii cruise in 2012. It was only available for a short time, and I wish I could have gotten more like it (like all the multiples I have of other bags)

Returning DCL cruisers (that is, it's at least your second DCL cruise) receive lanyards (at check in). Different colors based on Castaway Club level

First time DCL cruisers do not get lanyards.

Our second cruise will be in January and I'm excited to know we'll receive a CC member gift in our room! The lanyards at check in will be super nice, too! I love all the info I'm learning here!!!

We are going on our second cruise next year. We are bringing two family members that have never been. Would they get lanyards too, if they are staying in our cabins?

Typically, no. But there have been reports where the CM checking people in may give extra lanyards. It's supposed to be a perk for returning cruisers.
