Wondering if anyone has had any problems with the new carry-on restrictions regarding liquids, etc? I'm a toiletry freak and am so confused about what I can and cannot take in my little ziplock baggie. I'd like to bring travel size (I know they have to be under 3 oz) deoderant, toothpaste, and face wash. I'd also like packs of handi-wipes and feminine wipes. Lip gloss is also important to me, or at least a lip balm to keep my lips hydrated. I have lots of medications; assuming those are all okay to carry on?

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

Yes, follow the above link and then click on Permitted and Prohibited items. Down on the left. There is an extensive list. Pretty much everything you listed is ok as long as it is 3oz or less.

Good luck!

I just flew last week and did the liquid carry on thing. The OKC airport had baggies for you if you didn't have one the Houston one did not so to err on the safe side go ahead and buy your 1 qt sized bag ahead of time.

I bought all travel sized containers of my normal items so I wouldn't have to deal with questions or pouring into smaller containers. I only had my face wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand sanitizer, and toothpaste in there. The deoderant was a "solid" so it stayed out and so did my chapstick which was in stick form.

Just an fyi in case its not clearly mentioned on the page you are looking on the container has to be 3 oz or less not a 6 oz container of toothpaste but it only has about 2 oz left in it if that makes sense.

do the 3oz bottles have to be travel size of original product or can i use my own clear, unlabeled bottles from dollar store to fill with my products at home?
